Bespoke Control Panels and Motor Control Centres
Scotts designs and manufactures bespoke electrical control panels and Motor Control Centres (MCC’s) for industrial equipment, automated processes and critical infrastructure.
Each solution is developed around the equipment, control philosophy, operating environment and client requirements. Our team combines electrical design, panel manufacture, automation integration, testing and commissioning into one coordinated service.
From compact standalone panels to complex MCC systems, we design our solutions for safe operation, straightforward maintenance and dependable long-term performance.
Designed and Manufactured In-House
Every Scotts control panel begins with a detailed review of the equipment, electrical load, control philosophy and operating environment.
Our Design Engineers develop the electrical schematics and component layouts before the panel/MCC is manufactured within our own facility. This coordinated approach gives Scotts greater control over quality and builds consistency in project delivery.
Solutions can include standalone equipment panels, PLC-based control panels and complete MCC’s tailored to the requirements of the process.
Control panels and MCC’s are assembled and inspected within the Scotts facility before being dispatched to site. This helps improve build consistency, reduce site installation time and limit disruption to ongoing operations.
Factory Testing
Factory Acceptance Testing is completed and verified by the client, which includes the following, where applicable:
- Insulation Tests
- Dielectric Tests
- Installed components and electrical wiring
- Control functions and operating sequences
- Safety circuits and interlocks
- PLC and HMI operation
- Industrial communication networks
- Communication interfaces
- Alarm and status indications
On-Site Testing
Following installation, Insulation Tests and Dielectric Tests are completed where applicable
Site Acceptance Testing will be completed to confirm that the panel/MCC operates correctly with the connected plant and wider control system.
Automation and Connected Control Systems
Scotts control panels and MCC’s can support conventional control arrangements or intelligent PLC-based automation systems.
