Modern slavery, including forced, bonded or involuntary labour, human trafficking and child labour, has no place within our business. Our Ethical Trading Policy establishes standards designed to support fair employment, safe working conditions and responsible relationships with our employees, contractors, suppliers and customers.

Our Suppliers & Supply Chain
Scotts Electrical Services Ltd recognises that our responsibility to trade ethically extends beyond our own operations and into our supply chain.
We are committed to monitoring social standards within our supply chain and encourage our suppliers and service providers to operate to the same ethical standards that we apply within our own business.
Our Ethical Trading Policy sets out our commitment to responsible trading. This includes adhering to recognised Government trading sanctions and taking account of human rights and ethical considerations when determining the organisations and markets with which we do business.
Where a supplier does not meet the standards expected by Scotts Electrical Services Ltd, our policy provides for their removal from our approved supplier list.
Through these measures, we aim to maintain responsible relationships with suppliers and service providers and reduce the risk of forced labour, exploitation and other unethical practices entering our supply chain.
Ethical Trading & Due Diligence
Scotts Electrical Services Ltd is committed to trading ethically and recognises that our ethical and social performance is an important part of our overall business responsibility.
Our Ethical Trading Policy guides the way we approach our relationships with employees, customers, suppliers and service providers. We aim to ensure that what we buy, use and dispose of, as well as the way we conduct our business, supports fairer, more ethical, socially responsible and environmentally sustainable practices.
As part of this commitment, Scotts adheres to recognised Government trading sanctions and considers human rights when determining the countries and organisations with which we trade.
We will also refuse to work with a client or prospective client where we have reason to consider that they unfairly exploit people, animals or the environment.
These principles support our wider approach to reducing the risk of exploitation, forced labour and other unethical practices within our business relationships.
Monitoring & Responsibility
Scotts Electrical Services Ltd recognises that maintaining ethical employment and trading standards requires ongoing responsibility across our business and supply chain.
Our Ethical Trading Code of Practice applies to employees directly employed by Scotts on temporary or permanent contracts, as well as staff employed or provided by contractors or employment agencies to undertake work for or on behalf of the company.
We are committed to monitoring social standards within our supply chain and maintaining the expectations established within our Ethical Trading Policy. Where suppliers do not meet the standards required by Scotts Electrical Services Ltd, they may be removed from our approved supplier list.
Through these commitments, we aim to maintain responsible employment practices, protect the rights and welfare of those working for and on behalf of Scotts, and promote ethical standards throughout our business relationships.
Our approach to modern slavery and ethical trading will continue to be supported by our established company policies and reviewed as appropriate.
